Company History
WOBA DRESDEN came out of a merger between SÜDOST WOBA DRESDEN GMBH and WOHNBAU NORDWEST GmbH in 2004. In 2006, Fortress Investment group LLC acquired all shares in WOBA DRESDEN GmbH in a structured tendering procedure for c. 1.7 billion Euros.
Tenant Protection
WOBA DRESDEN tenants enjoy comprehensive - and in Germany exemplary - tenant protection rights laid down in a Social Charter. This Charter largely replicates the content of the GAGFAH SOCIAL CHARTER and was adopted by the Dresden City Council on September 22, 2005.
